TONDERAI NDIRA - A WARRIOR AND A MAN OF VALOR

Fellow countrymen, my heart bleeds - "NDABAIWA" at the passing on of TONDERAI NDIRA. He is a BRAVE WARRIOR and a MAN OF VALOR. We owe a better Zimbabwe to his spirit and soul. That he had to be so brutally murdered and inhumanly treated is proof to me that Tonde was a constant thorn in the flesh of the regime. No amount of physical abuse, arrest or torture could ever break his spirit. I believe the reason why they mutilated his lips and tongue is that even in his final moment Tonde told them the truth they so wish never to hear. He told them about how they may kill him but can never stop the revolution that he believes in and that the people of Zimbabwe will finish what he has started. With blood shot eyes, he must have spoken words heavy with symbolic hope as of a dying man's wish that his persecutors cut off his tongue fearing the world may hear what he said. We know who he is and what he stands for. We believe in the Zimbabwe that he so cherished as to give up his life for. We hear loud and clear his words even in this stark silence. Even in the face of this horrific death, we feel his heart and passion and share in his bravery and partake of his wisdom and vision. Ndira, they may think they have put a stop to your work, they may think they have silenced you, they may think they have set us back in the struggle for a better Zimbabwe. You just rest in peace my brother and from the heavenly windows watch and enjoy the unfolding events that will bring us the Zimbabwe you so tirelessly fought for. Soweto will never compare to the Mabvuku you created. Your Spirit lives with us forever.

Dealing with the fear of Man part 2.

Dear fellow countrymen. The Bible Book of Psalms is a very interesting Book indeed. It was written by David, a King of the nation of Israel, a God chosen people. He was a man of God and a man or war and a man of valor. He wrote psalms, he sang or had his musicians sing psalms and indeed found comfort in the psalms. DEFINITION: A psalm is a sacred song or poem, a hymn. A psalm is a collection of very intense thoughts that come out of the heart as a man Like David meditates on God and His word. Psalms constitute deep thougths of the heart as a man is faced with important and intriguing issues of this life. David wrote his psalms when he was surrounded by differing circumstances and situations in his life. He may have wrote some as a young shepherd, others as a young adult destined to be king. Most of them he obviously wrote when he became a King. Psalm 56:3,4 "What time I am afraid, I will have confidence in and put my trust and reliance in You. By [the help of] God I will praise His word; on God I lean, rely and confidently put my trust; I will not fear. What can man, who is flesh do to me?" Right now as I write, Zimbabweans in Johannesburg, South Africa are under heavy xenophobic attack. Some have been beaten to death, severely injured, displaced and robbed of their property. Now the above scripture surely gives hope to them and all of us who may be far from what is happening yet afraid and terrified. Whatever time, whatever moment you come into fear- whenever you are gripped by fear and you realise that you are in a state of fear, do not dwell on what is the source of that fear. For instance we are here dealing with fear of man. So whenever you are afraid of man, do not dwell on what they may do to you. Do not dwell on what they are doing to you or what they have done to you that causes you to be so afraid of them. Instead dwell on God, purpose it in your heart to look to Him, to look at the Throne of Grace. When you look, dwell on what you see concerning the man or the situation that may have caused you such fear. 1.You see David, when he was faced with Goliath, with King Saul, with all the men he fought against, he did not dwell on their might or what they were capable of doing to him. He chose to look to Heaven and when he did, he saw God's pinions and wings spread over him; he saw the armies of heaven ready to march in battle to his defence; he saw the right hand of righteousness and victory of God upon his life; he saw God as the one who is greater in him than the one who is in the world; he saw and found grace and mercy, he found strength; he received hope beyond comprehension. and when he did, he put his trust and confidence in God. He relied not in his weapons of war but rather relied on God, with the understanding that the battle was not his but that the battle belongs to the Lord. 2.David heared and knew the Word of God. He understood that the Word of God is true; that it contains promises made by God and that the One who has promised is faithful to fulfill those same promises because He is wathcing over His Word to perform it and has said that His Word which he has sent down will not return to Him void without achieving what He has sent it to; In this understanding, David praised the Word of God. He then went to do something that is profound and very important - He spoke the Word. He spoke what was different to the man he was faced with, he spoke what was different to the circumstances of life and the situations that had brought him fear. He defeated his enemies by the word of his testimony that came out of his meditations on the Word and on God. He declared his confident trust and reliance on God. He drove out the fear in him, and thereby was filled with faith and hope and courage. 3.In that same moment of declaration, David reduced his enemies to nothing by boldly saying, "what can man, who is flesh, do to me?" Surely what can man do to you if the armies of heaven are beside you. If God is for us surely who can be against us. Oh what a profound statement. What an encouraging word. 4.In these words I encourage you my fellow countrymen to behold the greatness of God, to come to the full knowledge of who God is and realise what provision He has made for us in His Word and His Son Jesus Christ.I challenge you to put in your heart the above scripture and speak with faith Psalm 56:3,4. I desire that you fill up your heart with the Word of God because the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart. May God grant us peace, joy and comfort in our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

SERIES ON PREPARING FOR WAR: 1.1 Dealing with fear

Like I said in introducing this series, we have to protect the hope we have for our beloved homeland. Protect it jealously as to fight for it. Since we have to fight to get to where we need to be as a people, we need to deal with issues that we maybe afraid of , understanding that such issues maybe a hindrance in our cause. Fear of man Do not fret or be afraid of any man as you prepare for war, during the war or at any stage of your life. For as long as you know the truth,as long as you hold fast to the knowledge that God provides, you are certified for victory. This is what the Holy Bible/ The Word of God has to say about this issue: Isaiah 54:14,15 (read the whole scripture) ".....Behold, they may gather together and stir up strife, but it is not from Me. Whoever stirs up strife against you shall fall and surrender to you." Joshua 1:5 "No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you." Psalm 118:6,7 " The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?...." Hebrews 13:5,6 " .....So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified].What can man do to me?" Isaiah 41:10,11,12,13 "...You shall seek those who contend with you but shall not find them; they who war against you shall be as nothing, as nothing at all. For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you!" With these words, I charge and encourage you to hold fast to the hope for a better Zimbabwe. Draw closer to God by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. To God be the Glory, Honour, Praise and Adoration. AMEN!

A NEW SERIES ON THE WAY - DONT MISS OUT

Dear Fellow Countrymen The elections have come gone amid much controversy in the aftermath considering the delay in the announcement of the Presidential ballot count. The fact that a recount has been called before the entire process is seen through, just clearly pronounces how corrupt and unjust the system is in dealing with issues of national governance. There well maybe yet another round of elections in the form of a Presidential run off. Many predict that it will be as bloddy as the 2000 and 2002 elections.Do we have a government, do we have a cabinet, do we have a parliament, do we have a voice, are we a sovereign republic, are we Marxist/Leninist cum socialists or are we something yet undefined and a nation in limbo? I will leave you to figure the answers to those questions. Well, I have in the past couple of days been bombarded with calls from mostly youthful friends in the struggle (both within and without our borders), either announcing their readiness, or calling for “some” action to remove or deal with the regime. Some have emailed me to express their fear for the worst, what with rumors and news that there is a ship from China with a consignment of ammunition, rocket propelled hand grenades and tubes, slowly making its way to the Angolan Shores, where the friends of the regime will gladly and willingly deliver them to Harare regardless of retribution from any discerning quarters. It is clear that patience is a virtue fast diminishing in our homeland and that fear is steadily gaining ground once again. The Hope that had been so bold and clear in all our hearts and within the horizon before the elections could be vanished at the wink of an eye if we do not guard it jealously. In light of the above sentiments, I am taking a bold stand against evil and do hereby take up responsibility to give leadership in this crisis. God help me to express what I have to say in the next couple of days because I feel it will change many of you and indeed bring us to the Zimbabwe we are searching for. Make sure you don’t miss out on these messages and tell others about it. So in this series of messages, I will seek to encourage the fearful, give ammunition to those considering and willing to engage in “action” to deal with the circumstances, and above all try to rekindle or keep the fire of our Hope burning. I hope you will be blessed, that you will be empowered, that you will be challenged and above all that you will be inspired to join hands with many of us in doing what is right for our people. COMING SERIES!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WATCH THIS SPACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1. Have Faith Zimbabwe.

Dear fellow Countrymen, greetings. Preparations are very advanced at this time around in Zimbabwe towards the elections. There is a heavy presence of expectation in the air, especially in the Diaspora. The media is awash with news about the progress or lack of it, that political parties and individuals are making in the country. Emails are flying left, right and centre; speculation is rife as to who will win and what the prospects are for the favoured candidate. Many are saying this time around change is imminent, some claiming that as usual, victory is a certainty and others getting ready to challenge the results. Talking of challenging the results, the South African government has issued a statement that Zimbabwe cannot afford to hold another disputed election and that such a situation will result in further and a lot of negative sentiments about the country. Well friends, mine is a different calling, a different perspective all together. I respect you for your political orientation, for the candidate you support and you wish to see emerging victor. My duty is to preach the Gospel of Peace, the Gospel of Christ and be the salt and the light to my beloved country. Today I would like us to focus on FAITH, and come to realise that in all things and when all has been said and done, our fate, our tomorrow, our future lies in one hand only and that of God the creator of the Heavens and the Earth. To define "faith", let us go to the Bible Books of 1. Hebrews chapter 11 verse 1 where it states that, " NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]." 2. Romans chapter 1 verse 17 "For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright sahll live and sahll live by faith." It is clear that faith concerns hope, concerns anticipation for some thing that is yet to be seen but understanding that in such anticipation it is already going to be attained or realised. It is also clear that faith is a way of life, an expression of a way of life.FAITH is in itself a call to righteous living which is a life in right standing with God. Therefore it is EXPRESSING CONFIDENCE IN GOD.When it is said that the just shall live by faith, it means that we will anticipate and expect things that we hope for in life to be realised in our lifetime and beleive that they already are or have become through God or in God. Let us understand how faith in God helps in our daily lives and in all that we ever hope for. Hebrews 11 verse 6 says that " But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily]believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnseslty and diligently seek Him." Faith in God means that we accept that He is alive and that He exists and has to worshipped, consulted and approached. If we approach Him without Faith, we cannot get to Him. If we consult Him with faith, we cannot get our answers. Similarly if we do not approach Him, seek Him, worship Him or consult Him, we fail in our endeavours. However if we do come to Him with faith in Him then He will reward us, He will answer us and He will grant us our wishes and desires for which we would have approached Him. If God must be approached then it means we have to ask for something and or about something in order for us to receive it - right?!! Yes indeed, when we draw close to God we seek Him, His Kingdom and His righteousness so that we may have the things in life that we desire or hope for. We should therefore ask what we want from Him in faith, that is beleiving that He hears [because He exists] and He rewards. Read James 1 to understand further about this. When we seem to experience opposition, when we seem to have trouble and when it seems like we are going nowhere in what we anticipate for, our faith is simply being put to the test. If we doubt or we get tired then we will not receive that which we ask from Him.These things that seem to point in the opposite of our hopes are just the testing and proving of our faith. What Am I saying here. I am saying that in the case of Zimbabwe, the prayers we have put before God are of a better Zimbabwe, successful and prosperous. But if we continue to see hyper inflation, experience a bad economy and face economic hardships-these things should not mean that God has not heard us nor that we are not getting what we want- instead these things happened to test and prove our faith. If we give up and doubt the ability of God in the process then our faith would have failed us and then we will not have any reward from Him who rewards those who have faith. That means Zimbabwe will not imporove and get to the state that we yearn for, dream about and hope for. We need to consistantly express our confidence in God. Our confidence must be in and remain in God. Elections are part of the political system of gorvenence there is no doubt about that. But we should not hope in them, we should not beleive in them for the total transformation of our country. We should not have faith in these elections. Our Hope must remain in God and in God alone. We cannot have faith in man (man of faults likes) NO! We cannot have the realization of our hopes dreams and desires in these elections it can never happen. It is God who can rebuild our nation and reward us in our faith in Him with a better Zimbabwe. Let us therefore, fellow countrymen look up to God, approach Him, seek Him deligently and express our confidence only in Him. We will not be disappointed, He will not fail us, leave us nor forsake us at all.AMEN!!!!! Maybe you are reading this and you wonder how you can approach God or that you are not a beleiver in Him and you to come Him now. Well I will help you. Maybe you used to a beleiver and when the hardships came you gave up your faith but now want to come back to God - I will help you. Maybe you have all this time put your faith in man, in elections, in political movements/fromations for a better Zimbabwe and now you want to come to God, I will help you too. The Book of Romans 3 verse 23,24 says that we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God but we are redeemed and made to be in right standing with Him through Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself says that in John 6 verse 35 He is the Bread of Life and that whoever beleive in Him will never hunger or thirst any more. The Book of Hebrews also says that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He is the Truth, the Way and the Life. If you open your heart, He will come into you and He will dine with you and you will dine with Him. He is there at the right hand of the Father as our advocate and mediator. Come to Him and He will lead you to God. Pray this prayer with me " Dear God I come to you through Jesus your Son. I beleive that you God exist and that your Son died and arose and is sitted at your tight hand. I come as I am, receive me. Lord Jesus, I open my heart taht you may come into my life and that through I may be redeemed. I thank you Father for forgiving my unbelief and my sins. I praise and worship your Holy Name is Jesus Christ, AMEN!!! Thank you for coming to Christ and coming to God. Now you are a Christian and a child of God. You can approach Him and pray to Him and ask for what you want in Faith in Him and you will recieve your reward. Remember to pray for our beloved country. May all the Glory, Honour, Praise and Adoration be to God our Father in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour. AMEN!!!!!!!

Zimbabwe Needs God

Dear fellow countrymen greetings to you all in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. May the Grace and Mercy of God be sufficient for you all. What went wrong and where did we lose it in our lovely country? How did the promised land of milk and honey of the 1980s just disappear? Where is the peace of a peace loving nation? Why is there such animosity amongst ourselves, so much hunger and strife? Why do we find men and women from Zimbabwe in their prime so scattered all over the world?Who has brought this disolation, these diseases, this oppression upon us and finally who is the enemy that we need to fight. To these questions and many more that we ask about our land, there are many possible answers; some wild, some vivid with truth, others pointing a finger at an individual or persons in government or in other countries far off.I am not there to judge such responses for I too am at fault and need to be judged. What I would like us to focus on is the Word of God and find out where we as a people went wrong and find a solution/way out that will bring us back to the glory days if not even better. We accept that our country is at a crisis of sorts; whether it be made of man or a result of some evil intentions of people in the West, is not a concern. Something surely needs to be done and urgently. As I have said in the previous writings, we need to return to God; the work that is set out before us to realise a restoration of our land requires more than just our strength. Our works of flesh, no matter how noble and just they may seem, will not get us there. Galatians 3 verses 2-5 says that " Let me ask you this one question: Did you receive the [Holy}spirit as teh result of obeying the Law and doing its works, or was it by hearign [the message of the Gospel] and believing [it]? [Was it from observing a law of rituals or from a message of faith?] Are you so foolish and so senseless and so silly? Having begun [your new life spiritually] with the [Holy] Spirit, are you now reaching perfection [by dependence] on the flesh? Have you suffered so many things and expereinced so mcuh all for nothing (to no purpose) - if it really is to no purpose and in vain? Then does He Who supplies you with His marvelous [Holy]Spirit and works powerfully and miraculously among you do so on [the grounds of your doing] what the Law demands, or because of your believing in and adhering to and trusting in and relying on the message that you heard?" Although this scripture is in reference to the spiritual life of Christians, I find it to be so full of revelation in terms of achieving one's hopes and aspirations. It is through faith in God and by the Grace of God that we can realise the things we hope for in life. We cannot do so by our own labor, toiling or intellect. Trying to take the struggle for a better Zimbabwe into our owm hands and excluding God will not take us any further than our imagination. God will even frustrate us in such efforts; which I think is why it is taking us so long to get the change that we all so yearn for. I would like you to read I Peter 5 verses 5-7. The last part of verse 5speaks about God resisting and opposing the proud. It is pride to assume that we can change Zimbabwe without the divine intervention of our God. If we dare do then see and hear my fellow countrymen we are doomed. It takes humility to realise that we are feable and weak in the sight of God and that of our own will, actions, ideas, organisations, political parties and intellect cannot do or achieve anything. Read James 4 verses 6-10 and Micah 6 verse 8. These portions of scripture speak of the Grace of God being in abundance if we come to Him, repent of our sinful ways and purify our hearts; and that God requires us to walk humbly with Him. Then and only then can our efforts be blessed and our dreams achieved. We need God's help in our personal lives, in the work that we do as individuals, as a communtiy, as a society, as a nation, as civil organisations, as political parties, as government. We are facing difficult times and there is one scripture which sustained me in my inprisonment which I feel will also encourage us as a people: Psalm 50 verse 15 "And call on Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you and you shall honor and glorigy me." Another verse that points us to God as our help is also from the Book of Psalm 121. Read it and it will help you understand that God is there 24/7 to help us in every aspect of our lives. We need Him to preserve us and protect us from the enemy. Speaking of enemies; we need to realise that our enemy is not Robert Mugabe, the West or any other person on earth that we may want to aportion blame for the crisis that we are facing. The prime enemy that we should all fight is the devil. He is the deceiving, lying and rebellious fallen angel and his legion of evil spirits that have brought us this doom. Read Ephesians 6 verses 10-13. We do not wrestle against flesh - NO NO NO NEVER. We fight with the power that holds and controls those who exhibit works of evil - not them. They need the saving power [ grace] of God and need to come out of the darkness and enter into the light. Jesus implored Christians to pray for those we perceive to be our enemies so that they too may have their sins forgiven them and their minds renewed by the Word of God. The tools of the fight are explained in the same scripture in Ephesians 6. I therefore, my fellow countrymen, call upon you all, to come to God, to seek Him and to bring to Him your petitions for your lives and for our beautiful country. Let us lift our eyes to Him and call on Him who is our creator. Let us return to Him in Humility and ask for His help. In Him through Christ we are overcomers and more than conquerors. A better Zimbabwe is indeed a reality attainable only in God. Dont divorce yourselves from the work that you maybe doing in political parties, civil society organisations or government. Stay and seek His Will and His help while you are there. His miracles await us at the end of the tunnel. Peace to you all and have a blessed week ahead of you. May all the Glory, Praise and Adoration be to God our Father who first loved us in Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord. AMEN!!!!!! Thank you for visiting this blog. I hope you are inspired by God. May you kindly tell others about the wonderful Good news and this blog.

You will make your ways prosperous in this way and you will find good success. When we pray for our country, God will hear us and answer us. Please read the following scriptures: Psalm 1 verses 1-3; Romans 13 verses 8-10; Galatians 3 verses 1 - 29; II Timothy 3 verse 16 and Joshua 1 verses 7-9. Enjoy reading the Bible and the return to God our Father. May all the Glory,Praise and Adoration be unto Him who fisrt loved us and gave us His Son Jesus Christ to save us. AMEN!!!!!!

A Call to Repentance.

Greetings my fellow countymen There is so much pressure, excitement and expectation in the air in Zimbabwe right now. A lot of people are talking about the elections, the candidates and the various possible outcomes. Many are engaged in discussing the legitimacy of Simba Makoni while others are looking to Morgan Tsvangirai to win this time around and some even suggesting that should he lose it would be noble of him to quit politics. This period truly reminds me of a period in my incaceration. I can never forget the feelings of disappointment and state of hopelessness as the news of the results of the 2002 elections filtered through the prison walls. Well I will talk about this later. The elections, many will agree with me, maybe an opportune time for change in Zimbabwe to create the better future that we all so yearn for and rebuild the land. Though I have my doubts about the current constitution, I see many placing their hope in and keeping their fingers crossed over this election. I would like to divert your attention from this election for a little while and draw your attention to other matters of improtance. The Bible Book of Psalms in Chapter 127 verse 1 says that " Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain." This is true about our beautiful land Zimbabwe, we cannot of our own will, strength and effort archieve any meaningful change. Yes they maybe change in leaders or government, but for there to be tangible economic revival, social transformation and political democracy, much more than just the role of political parties and the politicians is needed. There is much to be done than just the noble work executed by civil society. Because these remain just but our efforts within our wisdom;there is need for us as a people to collectively call upon the Lord to build this Zimbabwe that we wish and dream about. Otherwise the work that many do is only about self aggrandisement and no further. Time has come my fellow countrymen for us all to look elsewhere for our redemption. We can no longer look to the West or the East or in SADC or the A.U nor the U.N to save us from this turmoil. We can no longer continue to look upto learned politicians, economists and scientists to come up with a miraculous invention to drive us out of this misery. As rightly put in the Bible Book of Isaiah chapter 2 verse 22, "Cease to trust in [weak, frail, and dying]man, whose breath is in his nostrils [for so short a time];in what sense can he be counted as having intrinsic worth? The Bible Book of Isaiah perfectly puts in perspective the benefits of taking a course of action that takes away our trust in man and places it somewhere as I will reveal later. Isaiah 26 verse 3 and 4 we find the following words "You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, becasue he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him,lean on Him, hope confidently to Him)forever; for the Lord is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]". In chapter 30 verse 15 it says "For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returniong [to Me] and resting [in Me] you shall be saved; in quiteness and in [trusting] confidence shall be your strength".These words for me are a founding principle upon which a nation can be founded; they represent a fundamental truth for any man who is serious about achieving the dreams for a better Zimbabwe. Where is your mind, who or in what do you trust, where does your strength come from? Surely if it is not in and from God we are lost. But if we come to God and wait for Him, we will change, have our strength renewed and the power to run and not faint, to labor and reap the fruits of our labor as interestingly put it Isaiah 40 verse 31. Fellow countrymen, we have sinned before God and need His Salvation before we as a county can BECOME. Romans 3 verse 23 says it all that we have and sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. We have walked in our wisdom, consulted spirit mediums, offered gifts and prayers to the dead. We have killed the innocent,we have raped the daughters of the land, we have ill treated the foreigner, we have dealt corruptly, we have persecuted the just and the innocent, we have short changed the poor, we supressed and oppressed, we have placed our hope in man, we have not sought the Lord our God and have forsaken His ways. We have indeed sinned, none of us can ever say they have not sinned - we have in various ways and differing degrees. But here lies the hope, that God gave us His son for salvation and the forgiveness of our sins. Jesus Christ proclaimed that He came not for the righteous nor the well but for the sinners and the sick [see Luke 5 vs 32]. Jesus Christ implored us to respond to his call to repentance and not hardern our hearts when He makes such a call [see Hebrews 3 vs 15]. Do not depair my fellow countrymen for Christ is our hope and God the Rock of our Salvation. It is said of Jesus in Hebrews 7 verse 25 "Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them." Come my brothers, come my sisters, from all walks of life, from all ages, from all tribes and races. Come let us repent of our sins - those that we know we have commited and those that we know have been committed by others [maybe by those in leadership]in our land. Come let us say to God we have sinned but we have come that you may cleanse us as a people of all this unrighteousness, that you may cleanse and heal our land. Come my fellow countrymen, let us commit ourselves to our God in this prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you that you have made me realise that I am a sinner. I come to you as I am in the name of your son Jesus Christ. I this day and this moment repent of my sins and the sins of my forefathers. I repent of the sins that have been committed in my mother land. Lord have mercy on me and give me strength, power and your wisdom that I may live a life worthy of your calling. Help my in my weaknesses and faults. I pray that you may heal me and my motherland. I come to Christ and recieve Him in my life as Saviour and King of my life. Lord Jesus I ask you intercede for me and my country before God the Father, that all may be well with my soul and my motherland. I put my trust and hope in you God for my life and the land of Zimbabwe. In Jesus' name - AMEN !!!! Thank you for praying this prayer. I invite you to seek a Bible believing Church that preaches and practices the truths of God and Jesus Christ. I encourage you to buy a Bible and read and believe what it says because it contains the Word of God. Thank you for visiting this blog. Tell others about it. May all the Glory, Praise and Adoration be to God our Father - AMEN !!!!!!

Returning to the Lord our God

Dear Brothers and Sisters The times we live in today are very hard, in Zimbabwe and the world over. All over there is news of strife, poverty, and hunger. There is darkness and persection of sorts over different people and Zimbabweans are no exception to this. The Book of Jeremiah in Chapter 24 verses 5 and 6 makes an interesting appeal to me. A call for the exiles to return to God. One of the experiences that I have had while in exile is that of losing hope for my country and just getting tired of this life. Well there are many factors that may lead one to such feelings but certainly the fact that we away from Home and lost in a part of the world that is not our place has its toll on every soul at one stage or another. At this time of experiencing such feelings I have asked myself why I am here. This passage of scripture answers the question; it is God who has purposed it preciously for our own good - see verse 5. We are the good figs that God has intended to protect and save from the corruption and grave circumstances that could have affected us in our own land. God has sent us out to foreign lands that we may recuperate, that we may enter into His rest and most affectionaltey that He may set His eyes upon us for good. That is an owesome thing to know that God has His eyes upon me. It lifts my spirit and encourages me and gives me a sense of belonging and security. God will in His time at the appointed season send us back to our homeland there is no doubt about that. What is important for us then is to seek Him now. Seek and find Him so that we are not left out of His Grand plan; to build us up and not pull us down, to plant us and not pluck us up. Many have been planted in Churches, families and industries. Your purspose there is to be built up by God to impact our land in a massive God driven manner. Is this not amazing guys, that God has such a purpose for us. The call is therefore for us to return to God, to seek Him with all our hearts, with all our lives and with all our souls. We are His people and He is our God. We need Him and He needs us for our mother land. It begins with you the individual, spreading to communities and reaching out to a nation in need of God's healing touch. Will you be a part of these good figs? Will you be a House of Prayer being built up and planted for the good of our nation? I encourage you countrymen to come to God our Father, our Healer, our Redeemer, our Source, our Strength, our Hope and our Help. Come let us seek Him in truth and in earnest while He may still be found. PRAYER- Dear Heavenly Father, the creator of the Heavens and Earth. I thank you that my life is your hands, that my presence in a foreign land is according to your design and that you have brought me here to seek and find you and to have you build me up and plant me for good. May you heal me and may you comfort me. May your Mercy and Grace be sufficient for me and my country. I come as I am to you, recieve and accept me. Thank you Lord in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Thank you for praying this prayer. May all the Praise, Glory and Adoration be to our God. AMEN !!!!!!! Tell others about this blog. Thank you.
